We are fortunate in that we live fairly close to the shore of Narragansett Bay. Not close enough to see it, mind you. That said, it’s a short walk or even shorter drive to get to a spot where we can sit and look west at the farther shore.
We spend many an evening doing just that and on good days we’re treated to some of the most glorious sunsets I’ve ever experienced. I mention all this because we haven’t lived here very long, we only moved to our current place at the end of 2021.
As someone who has lived in a number of different places “home” is kind of a nebulous concept. Some places feel “right” and some don’t. This place feels right, at least for now, and I wanted to celebrate that with this piece.
The video version really makes it complete as it’s the full experience as I intended it, ocean sunset and all.
